Ket Island was a major base on 9b9t founded by the group today commonly called "Ket Boys", also responsible for the creation of K2, NBT and a few more. The base stood between June of 2017 and December of 2019, claiming the title of longest-standing[1] base on 9b9t; it was believed to have been griefed by Shreda5[2] for several months between mid 2018 and early 2019, but that turned out to be an elaborate prank pulled by the base members, framing someone they did not like. It is by many considered the most beautiful base on 9b9t, featuring many map arts and original builds.
The base was griefed in December of 2019 by an unknown player[3]; PH4ST originally tried claiming the grief[4], though it later turned out to be a hoax. To this day, the identity of the true griefer of Ket Island is unknown.
